This Twin-Turbo Viper TA Makes 1000+hp at the Rear Wheels

1,042-hp twin-turbo Viper TA
First things first: The SRT Viper TA is a beast—witness its Lightning Lap performance. But you want more, don’t you? The 645 horsepower from the bone-stock Viper? Yawn. Try 1042 horsepower—at the rear wheels—which is what the mad scientists at RSI Racing Solutions say they’re wringing from the Viper’s massive V-10. With twin 72-millimeter turbos, a giant intercooler, and more internal and external engine mods than you could shake a pushrod at, they’ve basically left no bolt unturned.

The resulting power onslaught is made, they say, when running 93-octane pump gas and jumps to more than 1500 when running E85 or race fuel. If you’re interested, the package starts at just a kiss under $90,000 on top of the donor Viper. If you’re not interested, perhaps this video demonstrating the car’s aural hellfire will change your mind:
